English translation is Aichi Aircraft Co., Ltd.

Japanese aircraft manufacturer during World War II.

Aichi Tokei Denki K.K. (Aichi Clock and Electric Co., Ltd.) was formed and began production at the Funakata plant in Nagoya in 1920. Engine production commenced in 1927 and in 1938 was tranfered to the new Atsuta factory in south-central Nagoya. The Eitoku airframe factory was opened in Nagoya in 1941. Aichi Kokuki K.K. was formed in 1943 and assumed control over the various engine and airframe manufactories. In late 1944 airframe production was dispersed to add a plant at Ogaki in the Gifu Prefecture and an underground facility at Seto, ten miles southwest of Nagoya. Engine production was moved to the Tsu Naval Air Station and underground facilities southwest of Tsu.

1942 - Aichi H9A Navy Type 2 Training Flying-Boat (twin-engine, training / anti-submarine / patrol, flying-boat)

1943 - Aichi E16A Navy Reconnaissance Seaplane Zuiun (single-engine, two-seat, reconnaissance, float-plane)

1944 - Aichi B7A Navy Carrier Attack Bomber Ryusei (single-engine, two-seat, carrier-capable, torpedo-bomber / dive-bomber)

1945 - Aichi M6A Navy Special Attack Bomber Seiran (single-engine, two-seat, submarine-borne, attack-bomber, float-plane)
