Allied Air Defense Ribbon

Awarded to Allied pilots who withstand heavy assault from the enemy forces yet refuse to yield their ground.

Protecting the Allied forces while they were attacking enemy scenes in the Big Classic IX event, LTD_Mitchell^JXO and LTD_PiLLaR__ destroyed 49 enemy planes. Recognizing the importance of their support of attacking forces, they are awarded the Allied Air Defense ribbon.

Members of the Third Squadron, flying for the Allied forces during the Big Classic IX event, downed 39 enemy planes, clearing the skies for bomber raids on enemy scenes. Four members of the squadron awarded the Allied Air Defense ribbon are:

The FG Squadron also presented a stiff resistance towards enemy assailants and 5 members of that group were responsible for 39 enemy destroyed and a further 19 damaged during The Blitz event. For their efforts, ATAC wishes to bestow upon them the Allied Air Defense ribbon. Recipients are:

During the Summer In Sicily battle, the Drunken Warriors were tasked with defending an airfield in the US zone from enemy attack. With odds of 4-1 against them, the 4 DW pilots struggled into the air and did what they could to keep the large enemy force tied up while other US forces were able to push through the lines and harass and destroy the enemy at their airfields. It is these brave actions that are recognized and we are proud to bestow upon them the Allied Air Defense ribbon. DW members who participated in this defense and are eligible to wear the ribbon are:

With the primary Axis armored attack corridor in their sector, the 1st division was bound to see action, but they withstood a continuous assault for over two hours, destroying wave after wave of Tiger tanks in a combat whose intensity exceeded all other battles in recent memory. With skill, dedication, and a relentless flying spirit, the pilots of the Allied 1st refused to yield.
