Awarded to a pilot for exceptional service flying bombers. One star is added each time a pilot is awarded this ribbon.

December 2009

For their successful operation of the Do-217 bomber during the Donets Corridor event, which resulted in destruction of the enemy airfields and of over 8 enemy planes on the ground, _SA_Bingo68_ and SIR_Face_Bomber_ are awarded the Bomber Service ribbon.

The Pe-8 was the bomber of choice for most for most Allied pilots in the Donets Corridor event, and the following pilots distinguished themselves in it enough to earn the Bomber Service ribbon:

September 2009

For leading the Axis team with 94 buildings destroyed in a bomber during the Lake Balaton event, SIR_FACE_BOMBER^BCO is awarded the Bomber Service ribbon.
Several Allied pilots were focused on destroying buildings during the Lake Balaton event and their success was evident. For their actions the following pilots are deserving of displaying the Bomber Service ribbon:

August 2009

Two individuals, whether flying as independents or associated with a squad distinguished themselves from their peers by performing outstandingly in the skies during the Big Classic X event. HQ recognizes the following pilots for their individual efforts achieving high numbers of buildings destroyed. For their efforts HG_BUCK^BCO (60) and HG_The_Dude (49) are awarded the Bomber Service ribbon.


July 2009

Leading all Allied pilots in buildings destroyed during the Abbeville Boys event with 48, Billy_Jack is deemed eligible to wear the Bomber Service ribbon. Other pilots achieving high numbers of buildings destroyed and also eligible are:

May 2009

HG_Buck^BCO flew a bomber in the Big Classic IX event, destroying 47 buildings, triggering and capturing 3 scenes. For his contribution to the Allied effort to take enemy territory, he is recognized with the Bomber Service ribbon.
Buildings destroyed also factored into the eventual victory by Allied forces during the Milne Bay event and whether accomplishing this task by strafing, dive bombing or level bombing, these pilots showed they have the skills to hit their targets and trigger scenes. In recognition, ATAC is proud to present the appropriate ribbon to:

November 2008

The main focus of the Allied battle plan for the Tetsu No Ame event involved the destruction of enemy buildings. Leading all Allied pilots with 107 and 106 buildings destroyed are USMC_FD_Gunsup and AH_MtnMan_DI. For their efforts, we wish to present to these two pilots the Bomber Service ribbon.

September 2008

BRS_SPARKY, flying his P-47D Thunderbolt, led all Allied pilots by destroying 110 enemy buildings during the Avalanche On Salerno event. Other pilots who achieved high numbers of buildings destroyed are AH_GRIM_BXO (102), _WILL_SACKETT_CO (85), _BANZAI_Xen (81), DW_Dawg (70) and DW_Archangel_ (60). For their efforts we are honored to award DW_Dawg, DW_Archangel_ , _BANZAI_Xen and _WILL_SACKETT_CO the Fighter-bomber Service ribbon and AH_GRIM_BXO the Bomber Service ribbon. Combined, these 6 pilots also accounted for 37 triggered scenes, many of which eventually fell to Allied ground forces.

August 2008

Destroying enemy scenes and resources was the goal of several pilots who effectively used bombers in service to their respective countries during the Big Classic VI battle. For their outstanding efforts, the following pilots are awarded the Bomber Service ribbon:

Another factor in Allied victory during the Tango In Tunisia event was the destruction of enemy scenes and the triggering of Allied armor columns to attack those scenes. Many Allied pilots accomplished this task, some more proficiently utilizing primarily A20s and Lancaster bombers. SF_Aquaman_XO (101 buildings), DW_Sleepy001 (71), _BANZAI_BigCat2B (61), _RedBull (54 buildings, 43 tanks) and StonedBaron (53) are all eligible to wear the Bomber Service ribbon in recognition of their achievements.
Many individuals, whether flying as independents or associated with a squad distinguished themselves from their peers by performing outstandingly in the skies above the Sicilian countryside. Allied Command would like to recognize the following pilots for their individual efforts during the Summer In Sicily' event. Pilots who achieved high numbers of buildings destroyed are KuRuRu (45) and FAW_baba_CO (37). For their efforts we are honored to award KuRuRu and _Xerxes_Sackett the Bomber Service ribbon.

June 2008

_TBH_Ranger_CO flew into the Guadalcanal Landings battle in both bombers and fighters. But it was in his Avenger and Mitchell aircraft that he provided the greatest assets. In these he managed to destroy 39 buildings (2nd overall) and triggered 4 scenes. 2 of those scenes were captured. His sole actions reflect great honor upon The Black Hats and it is with this in mind that we are honored to bestow upon him the Bomber Service ribbon.
StonedBaron and omeki both also achieved success in bombing targets in the TBF Avenger during the Guadalcanal Landings battle. StonedBaron destroyed 34 buildings while omeki hit another 25. Omeki also was responsible for 2 triggers, both of which resulted in capture. Their actions also are deserving of the Bomber Service ribbon.


May 2008

For distinguished bravery and skillfull attacks on enemy carriers and ships in their HE 111's during the Convoy To Murmansk battle, JG54_Emil_Lang and JG54_Reinhardt and are awarded the Bomber Service ribbon.

March 2008

One of the top bomber pilots during the Battle For Berlin was _TBH_Ranger_CO. For his proven skill and success during the Berlin event, it is with honor that we present to him the Bomber Service ribbon.

February 2008

The bombers were the backbone of the Allied Oil Offensive. Time and time again they ran the gamut, losses were heavy and many never made it to target, much less the ride home. Amongnst them were Red20MMTex and _TBH_Ranger_CO, who destroyed over 25 buildings each, for which they are awarded the Bomber Service ribbon.

January 2008

AH_StonedBaron -The B-25J, A-20G, and Tu-2S were more than enough for AH_StonedBaron to score 14 kills and 2 assists during the Turkey Shootout battles, not to mention putting a hurt on ground targets with 164 buildings and 15 tanks destroyed, resulting in 3 triggers and 3 scene captures, and earning the Bomber Service award.
JG7_Grim_BL -From the familiar cockpit of his trusty Ju-88, JG7_GRIM_BL racked up 52 buildings and 36 enemy tanks destroyed during the Turkey Shootout battles, scoring 4 triggers and 2 scene captures in the process. Meanwhile his defensive gunners were more than alert with 5 kills and 3 assists to their credit, earning him the Bomber Service ribbon.


December 2007

HC_Piper and HC_Cheese for their buff attacks which kept 63BI and 62BC "under control" during the Storming Novgorod event.

October 2007

Ks_koh - For destroying 74 buildings while flying the Classic Showdown I event.
_Woody - For successfully bombing multiple scenes in the western sector during the Battle of Ortona, allowing friendly Tigers to recapture crucial tank factories, and evading heavy enemy fighter opposition.

August 2007

515 - For flying a B-17 during the Big Classic III event and destroying 67 buildings.
_Arch_Sackett - For his efforts during the Big Classic III event, while flying a G5N1 Shinzan and a Tu-2, resulting in 121 destroyed buildings.
AH_SkyJackeL - For destroying 95 enemy buildings during the Big Classic III event.


June 2007

JG51_Drache - For his actions during the Stalingrad battle in which he sank numerous Soviet supply ships, thereby preventing significant reinforcements from reaching the embattled city.

JG51_Totentanz - For leading the JG51 bombing and assault force, which succeeded in capturing its target within the first ten minutes of the event start, striking first blood for the Axis team.
