US aircraft manufacturer during World War II.

Originally the Vought-Sikorsky Division of the United Aircraft Corporation, the Chance Vought and Sikorsky Divisions were split up in 1943 so that each could concentrate on their strengths.


Production Aircraft

1940 - Chance Vought OS2U Kingfisher (single-engine, two-seat, float-plane)

1942 - Chance Vought F4U Corsair (single-engine, carrier-capable, interceptor / fighter-bomber)
