Australian aircraft manufacturer during World War II.

Founded in 1936 as a scheme by the Australian government to make the country independant of foreign imports. The company was founded by a number of Australia's largest firms, including Broken Hill Pty., Co., Broken Hill Associated Smelters Pty., the Elctrolyte Zinc Co. of Australia, Imperial Chemical Industries of Australia and New Zealand, the Orient Steam Navigation Co., and General Motors-Holdens, a division of General Motors of the USA.
