May 2008

The Wrecking Crew flew cohesive organized fighter and attack missions in the face of stiff enemy resistance during the Convoy To Murmansk event, threatening allied shipping as well as performing fighter escort duties. For this action, they are awarded the Distinguished Team Service ribbon. Pilots eligible for the award are:

The members of the LTD Squadron who flew in Convoy To Murmansk event were credited with 130 enemy aircraft destroyed and a further 150 plus damaged. Of their kills over 50 were enemy bomber types. Their total kills are equal to 17% of the total enemy shot down by Allied pilots for the event and it is with this in mind that we are honored to bestow upon them the Distinguished Team :::Service ribbon. During the Battle For Berlin, another squad was instrumental in helping the Allies achieve victory. For their actions we would like to present to members of the BANZAI Squadron the Distinguished Team Service ribbon. They destroyed 40 enemy tanks as well as having a direct hand in the destruction of 59 enemy aircraft. And were instrumental in capturing The First GE bomberfield that was key. In addition, they helped the push to Berlin, and when the clock was ticking they did an excellent job defending. Pilots from this squad eligible to wear the ribbon are:

The LTD squad performed in an exceptional manner during the Oil Offensive battle. Leading Allied squads in kills and assists (including 5 Me262 jets), they also destroyed 90 buildings. The Aces High, LTD, and Sackett's Land squadrons were an exceptional component to the Allied victory in the Big Classic IV event. Together they destroyed 121 buildings and had eight scene captures, while destroying 114 tanks. They helped assure victory by downing 73 Axis planes. For their actions during the battle they are awarded the Distinguished Team Service ribbon. Pilots of the three squadrons entitled to wear the award are:

Three members of the 56th Squadron who flew for the Axis during the Big Classic IV event had outstanding offensive and defensive records, earning them the Distinguished Team Service ribbon. As a squadron, they destroyed 84 buildings, which facilitated the capture of 7 scenes. They also destroyed 98 tanks and 21 planes, while damaging 11. Members of the squadron eligible for the award are: 56_Aurora_AK, 56_Killerwall, and 56_WaterBUG.

November 2007

The Wildcard, Taven, and HELLCATZ Squadrons were an exceptional component to the Axis victory at Cape Gloucester. Together they took many scenes and helped assure an Axis victory by tying down large numbers of Allied pilots. With a combined score of 109 kills and 95 damaged enemy planes during the Battle of Britain event, The Third Squad earned this ribbon. Pilots eligible for the award are: 3rd_SQD_B1ker, 3rd_SQD_Ghost_, 3rd_SQD_MVRS45, 3rd_SQD_painter3, 3rd_SQD_pitbull, 3rd_SQD_Ramrod, and 3rd_SQD_SWORD.
