English translation is Kawasaki Aircraft Engineering Co., Ltd.

Japanese aircraft and engine manufacturer during World War II.

The aircraft division of Kawasaki Jukogyo K.K. (Kawasaki Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.) was formed in 1918. In 1937 the airframe, and in 1939 the engine, manufacturing was moved into the wholly-owned subsidiary Kawasaki Kokuki Kogyo K.K. Most production was maintained at the Akashi factory near Kobe (aircraft and engines) and the Kagamigaharu (Gifu) factory near Nagoya. Smaller airframe plants were maintained at Ichinomiya near Nagoya and Miyakonojo on Kyushu, while additional engine production occured at the Futami and Takatsuki factoies in the Osaka-Kobe area.

1941 - Kawasaki Ki-56 Army Type 1 Freight Transport (twin-engine, transport)

1942 - Kawasaki Ki-45 Army Type 2 Two-seat Fighter Toryu (twin-engine, two-seat, ground-attack / heavy-fighter / night-fighter)

1943 - Kawasaki Ki-61 Army Type 3 Fighter Hien (single-engine, fighter / fighter-bomber)

1944 - Kawasaki Ki-102 Army Type 4 Assault Plane (twin-engine, ground-attack / high-altitude fighter / night-fighte)

1945 - Kawasaki Ki-100 Army Type 5 Fighter (single-engine, fighter / fighter-bomber)
