The USMC Squadron had 10 players in the Falaise Pocket event. These pilots destroyed 250 enemy aircraft and damaged a further 163 as well as destroying several Axis tank columns. SA_Eddie_, _SA_Huskers94_, _SA_Lurch_, _SA_Anthony_32_, _SA_Mjolnir, _SA_Killuh2K8_ and BH_PapaThorsonCO are awarded the Meritorious Unit Citation due excellent execution of their orders and non-stop defense of any field that was under attack during the Avalanche On Salerno battle.

The 'AH' Squadron had 25 players in the Avalanche On Salerno event. These pilots destroyed 462 of the 2100+ enemy aircraft downed by the Allies during the event. They damaged a further 294 as well as led all Allied squads in tanks destroyed, buildings destroyed and triggered scenes. Their overwhelming presence across the battlefield was both disruptive and destructive to the Axis pilots. The BANZAI squad was one of the groups tasked with the perilous mission of patrolling the area over and around Santa Isabel during the Guadalcanal Landings battle. The result of these patrols saw the BANZAI pilots achieve great success against the Imperial pilots as evidenced by their 133 confirmed kills. They also managed to destroy 83 buildings and finish with an average kill/pilot ratio of over 16:1. Net result being almost 5 kills per plane lost. A true example of combat excellence and for this we wish to bestow upon them the Meritorious Unit Citation ribbon. Pilots eligible to wear this award are: _BANZAI_Anjin, _BANZAI_BigCat2B, _BANZAI_Devil, _BANZAI_Holmeles, _BANZAI_KITKAT1, _BANZAI_Lost, _BANZAI_Prophet, and _BANZAI_Roncapt.

The pilots of Axis Wing 3 had a tough job taking, recapturing and defending the JP home scenes of Santa Isabel island during the Guadalcanal Landings battle. Often outnumbered and hard pressed, Wing 3 accomplished their goals in difficult situations. For this action the following pilots are awarded the Meritorious Unit Citation: WILD_FL_Spliff, WILD_LIVING, WILD_TO_Eagle, FC_Graywolf, and FC_AceMcFly.

For their efforts as a squadron during the Big Classic V event, in which they triggered six scenes and downed forty enemy planes, as well as destroying ten enemy tanks, The Aces High Squadron is awarded the Meritorious Unit Citation. It is with great honor that we present to the AH Squad the Meritorious Unit Citation ribbon. This is in recognition of their accomplishments during the Battle For Berlin, in which they led all Allied squads in kills (102), assists (89) and destroyed buildings (273). On top of these achievements the AH also destroyed 36 enemy tanks. Their actions reflect greatly upon themselves and were critical in the victory over the Axis forces. For their actions during the Marianas Turkey Shoot battle, in which they stood out as valiant and deadly foes to the Allied victors, the Jagdgeschwader 7 Nowotny Squadron is awarded the Meritous Unit Citation. The Third Squadron - For their efforts as a squadron during the Big Classic IV event, in which they destroyed 145 buildings, triggering 10 scenes, resulting in 4 captures, as well as scoring 68 enemy planes destroyed and 55 damaged planes, The Third Squadron, is awarded the Meritorious Unit Citation. Jagdgeschwader 7 Nowotny Squadron - Wing 3 during the Cape Gloucester event, the Jagdgeschwader 7 Nowotny squadron members excelled in capturing many western and central sections of the map, including the northwestern U.S. beachhead, forcing the Allied forces to fight a rearguard action to take it back. No-Name Squadron - For their series of relenteless and successful attacks on GE shipping from start to finish in the Ranger Up North Battle, and in locating and sinking two cargo ship groups as well as one battleship group, the NNS has been awarded the Meritorious Unit Citation. TAVEN - Being instrumental in the capture of the heavily contested air base at 49co during the Battle of Ortona, the Taven squad provided CAP for tank columns and enemy scenes, resulting in the destruction of numerous attacking fighters. Pilots eligible for the award are: TAVEN_9, TAVEN_16, TAVEN_33, TAVEN_37, and TAVEN_571.

_BANZAI_ - Being the outstanding fighter squadron during the Ranger Up North event with 80 destroyed and 23 damaged enemy planes to their credit, this squadron is awarded the Meritorious Unit Citation ribbon. The Wrecking Crew (TWC) - For their contributions during the Big Classic III event, in which they destroyed 118 enemy buildings, destroyed 16 enemy tanks, shot down 36 enemy planes, and delivered 56 troops, The Wrecking Crew (TWC) is awarded the Meritorious Unit Citation ribbon. LUFT Squadron - Faced by sizable enemy forces in the Southern sector of the Stalingrad battlefield, the pilots of the LUFT Squadron pressed forward their attacks without regard to anything other than the mission. For their action in the battle the LUFT Squadron is awarded the Meritorious Unit ribbon. The pilots eligible to wear this award are LUFT6_Sparkz, LUFT11_Gumiflex, LUFT17_Beretta, LUFT20_Clove, LUFT23_Banjoz, and LUFT26_Little_T.

56th Squadron - For their valorous and persistent engagement of enemy forces in the Northern air sector over Stalingrad, for attacking Soviet positions with vigor, despite heavy air defenses, the 56th Squadron is awarded the Meritorious Unit ribbon. The pilots eligible to wear this award are 56_Aurora_AK, 56_Hawk, 56_Killerwall, 56_MizzouTiger, 56_Seatraveler, 56_Ttaffy3, and 56_WaterBUG.

LAFS Squadron - At the onset of the Barbarossa event, one small squadron of dedicated fighter pilots was given a difficult mission to accomplish...defend the US base @ BK38 from the anticipated SU attack. Not only did the LAFS squadron make it to BK38 in time to prevent its capture by SU paratroopers, but they stayed in the air long enough to defend the inbound Axis attack force which enabled BK38 to be taken within 10 minutes of the event start. Once the Axis presence on BK38 was established, the LAFS squadron defended that base till the end of the match, fighting the SU forces to a standstill, never letting them get a foothold for longer than a few minutes, regardless of the extremely long odds against them. For this remarkable demonstration of dedication and valor, the LAFS squadron is awarded the Meritorious Unit Citation. Pilots authorized to wear this award are: LAFS_CO_Lafs, LAFS_ORNERY, LAFS_Rebelrouzer, LAFS_RO_HOSS, LAFS_RO_Sirs, and LAFS_XO_buddy.

ALL41 - For flying a circuitous route with foreign refueling to strike the southern flank deep in Axis territory, a bold action that resulted in taking an airfield and causing serious distractions during beachhead attempts by other units on the English Channel side to Continental Europe, ultimately providing a major contribution to the Allied victory. Pilots eligible to wear the award are: ALL41_Arillus, ALL41_AV8r, ALL41_BAT_21, ALL41_Chopper, ALL41_Deisel, ALL41_IKE, ALL41_JoeBeer, ALL41_Snake, ALL41_Whopper, and ALL41_Wolf.

Drunken_Warriors - For flying across the channel under orders to secure a beachhead on Continental Europe, for holding and patroling the shoreline facilities and defending against all odds, capturing and recapturing multiple scenes in heavy fighting until the end of the event. Pilots eligible to wear the award are: DW_ALBY, DW_Dawg, DW_DOZER, DW_JamminJim, DW_Rickter, and DW_Sleepy001.

Black Rose Squadron - For flying Top Fighter Cover during the final raid, covering the HG bomber boxes like a security blanket from high above, driving off or shooting down enemy interceptors before they could get near the bomber formations, sacrificing themselves to protect their charges and keep them from any harm, until they were able to drop their bombs and troops. Not until after the last BRS pilot was lost did the bombers take damage. Pilots eligible to wear the award are: BRS_Gipsy, BRS_Skyhawk, BRS_ Sparky, BRS_Spitsfire_CO, and BRS_Iceman.

Savage Squadron - For outstanding service to the Allies in actions providing continuous defense of the coastal area, posting kills for 6 transports, 11 bombers and 57 fighters. Pilots eligible to wear the award are: S_ME_4809_CO, S_1st_Eagle, S_Charlie, S_Corcki, S_Dodge, and S_Weezle.

Doolittle Raiders - For outstanding service to the Allies in actions on the European Continent in coordination with other units, which led to vital scene captures that aiding in victory for the Allies. Flying Circus - Acting as a well-oiled machine in leading the Axis 1st Air Wing (Fighters) during the Barbarossa event, for closing the gap when the SU cut through the middle of the map and for splitting their group at the request of Axis Command to assist at other bases under attack and helping slam the door shut on the invaders.
