US aircraft manufacturer during World War II.

Mr. T. Claude Ryan formed the original Ryan Company, which made the plane that Charles Lindbergh flew across the Atlantic non-stop in 1927. That same year he severed his ties with the original company. In 1933 he re-entered the manufacturing business with The Ryan Aeronautical Company.
