The front lines were a hard place to be for the American fighters during the Oil Offensive. Outnumbered 2-1 against the best late war German fighters, these pilots fought with fierce determination, enabling our bombers to hit their mark! These men exemplify the fighting spirit of the Allied Airman and it is with great pride we honor them with the US Service ribbon. Pilots eligible for the award are: _BANZAI_Bama, _BANZAI_Roncapt, B_Mitchell, FC_Pogue, FG_MackDog, FG_Murrdog, S_ME_4809_CO, and USMC_RS_PITCH.

In recognition of excellent defensive gunnery during the Oil Offensive by shooting down 3 of the Luftwaffe's precious new jet fighters among his 7 total kills, while piloting a B-17 over hostile territory. It is with pride that NNS_FERRET_CO be presented the US Service Ribbon.

January 2008

_BANZAI_BigCat2B earned the US Service ribbon during the Pearl Harbor and Philippines battles by downing 10 enemy planes and damaging 10 others.

56_WaterBUG, in air-to-air action during the Pearl Harbor and Philippines battles 56_WaterBUG earned the US Service ribbon by scoring 12 kills and 8 assists.

AH_Gibber proved the ultimate team-player, scoring 12 kills, 2 forced landings, and 23 assists during the Pearl Harbor and Philippines battles, and earned the US Service ribbon.

AH_Wiskey_Pete, during the Pearl Harbor and Philippines battles AH_Whiskey_Pete shot down 11 and damaged 16 enemy planes, and earned the US Service ribbon for his efforts.

AH_YoungBlood was a triple ace during the Pearl Harbor and Philippines battles, scoring 16 kills, 1 ditch, and 8 assists to earn the US Service ribbon.

FC_Graywolf's actions during the Pearl Harbor and Philippines battles resulted in 13 kills and 17 assists, and earned him the US Service ribbon.

GRR_lastinline, in air-to-air action during the Pearl Harbor and Philippines battles GRR_lastinline shot down 12 and damaged 7 enemy planes, earning the US Service ribbon.

GRR_Xtreme_XO earned the US Service ribbon during the Pearl Harbor and Philippines battles by downing 10 and damaging another 12 enemy aircraft.

Minnesotaguy made his mark during the Pearl Harbor and Philippines battles by scoring 12 kills and 6 assists, earning the US Service ribbon in the process.

Outcast_Nova is awarded the US Service ribbon for action during the Pearl Harbor and Philippines battles in which he shot down 14 and damaged 19 enemy aircraft.

Outcast_Tundra, during the Pearl Harbor and Philippines battles Outcast_Tundra shot down 12 and damaged 17 enemy aircraft, earning the US Service ribbon for his efforts.

rfdiii, in air-to-air action during the Pearl Harbor and Philippines battles rfdiii scored 12 kills and 9 assists, and earned the US Service ribbon.

TFF_Smokin shot down 11 enemy planes and damaged another 8 during the Pearl Harbor and Philippines battles and earned the US Service ribbon.

USMC_TC_Simon is awarded the US Service ribbon for action during the Pearl Harbor and Philippines battles, in which he shot down 11 and damaged 7 enemy aircraft.

November 2007

TWC_SPIN - for excelling in Offensive and Defensive operations, with each pilot scoring about 20 kills and 20 buildings destroyed during the Cape Gloucester event.

TWC_Birdman - for excelling in Offensive and Defensive operations, with each pilot scoring about 20 kills and 20 buildings destroyed during the Cape Gloucester event.

_Lando_Sackett - for his efforts in triggering 4 attacks and destroying 38 buildings during the Cape Gloucester event. He and _TJTiger_Sackett were in the top five of both categories.

_TJTiger_Sackett - for his efforts in triggering 3 attacks and destroying 32 buildings during the Cape Gloucester event. He and _Lando_Sackett were in the top five of both categories.

NNS_Albany - for his mud-moving efforts during the Cape Gloucester event. Along with NNS_Eviltwin_XO, NNS_FERRET_CO, NNS_GLAMIS and NNS_SPARKS, they destroyed 100 building, triggered 7 attacks, and even managed to deliver a full load of troops - something that proved rare during the battle.

NNS_EVILTWIN_XO - for his mud-moving efforts during the Cape Gloucester event. Along with NNS_Albany, NNS_FERRET_CO, NNS_GLAMIS and NNS_SPARKS, they destroyed 100 building, triggered 7 attacks, and even managed to deliver a full load of troops - something that proved rare during the battle.

NNS_FERRET_CO - for his mud-moving efforts during the Cape Gloucester event. Along with NNS_Albany,NNS_Eviltwin_XO, NNS_GLAMIS and NNS_SPARKS, they destroyed 100 building, triggered 7 attacks, and even managed to deliver a full load of troops - something that proved rare during the battle.

AH_Eagle_FXO - For air-to-air action in his F6F-3 Hellcat during the Ranger Up North event, resulting in 9 enemy aircraft shot down and 8 damaged, AH_Eagle_FXO is awarded the US Service ribbon.

FG_Mackdog - Flying a F4U-1A Corsair during the Ranger Up North event, he shot down 15 enemy planes and damaged 4 more, and is awarded the US Service ribbon.

Frenchie - For flying his F6F-3 Hellcat during the Ranger Up Northevent, resulting in 10 enemy planes shot down and a further 13 damaged, he is awarded the US Service ribbon.

GRR_Xtreme_XO - For shooting down 13 enemy planes and damaging 9 more while flying his F6F-3 Hellcat during the Ranger Up North event, he is awarded the US Service ribbon.

LTD_Mrs_C_oZZy - While flying her F4U-1A Corsair during the Ranger Up North event, she shot down 8 enemy planes and damaged another 9, earning the US Service ribbon.

S_Corcki - For action in his F6F-3 Hellcat during the Ranger Up North event, resulting in9 destroyed and 14 damaged enemy planes, he is awarded the US Service</span> ribbon.

AH_Wildcard - For downing 20 enemy planes, while flying US aircraft during the Big Classic III event.

Knocker1 - For destroying 16 enemy aircraft, while flying US planes during the Big Classic III event.

May 2007

_TBH_Ranger_CO - For successfully leading his bomber formation on a strike on Paris during the Abbeville Boys battle, which destroyed most major targets and raised the target damage level to 30%.

LTD_Trupr_CO - Forsaking the safety offered by keeping his fighter group intact, LTD_Trupr_CO split his group and dragged enemy defenders west and south of Paris during the Abbeville Boys battle, opening up an enemy-free corridor for the bombers to get to their target.

April 2007

HG_Edd - For making repeated successful attacks on ground and shipping targets at 19e during the Kwajalein battle.

Buzzard_LoCo - For his efforts against 58aj and for defending the US carriers from repeated enemy attacks against extreme odds during the Kwajalein battle.

Buzzard_Scraps - For fighting through astronomical odds against during the Abbeville Boys battle on the long flight to Paris through droves of enemy fighters to destoy buildings in low-level strafing attacks through hails of enemy fire.
