I'm a 55 year old Combat Disabled VietNam Veteran(SCI).I was wounded when my chopper was shot down and crashed durring the 1972 Spring Offensive in Kontum: Central Highlands.

I have always loved flying and friends and FA allows for the best of both on a limited budget!:)I was Medically Retired from the Army in 1975, and worked for some 20 years as a Veterans Service Officer within several organizations and retired all together in 1995.

I am now a gentleman of leisure...living in the Southern Adirondack Mountains of New York, Just outside of Saratoga and it's world famous Thoroughbred Flat Track.

after migrating down from the magnificent High Peaks Area in 1998.

I like to spend my summertime days; Flying, Soaring, Fishing/ Boating and with my stable of Giant Scale RC A/C. I also like to indulge in Wheelchair; Tennis, Hoops and some Endurance Roadwork.

The Fall and Winter are my favorite time of year, the cooler temperatures and the asthetics of fall colors and new fallen snow bring out the best in me all the way around. During the late fall I like to handgun hunt from my ATV 4 Runner, both small and large game. After the snow flies and get's a good coverage on the mountains herebouts I rejoice in the beginning of another Ski Season. From the middle of December till the first of April it is SKI SKI SKI! I'm out every weekend, either teaching "Adaptive skiing with the folks at VASS (Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports) at Killington/Pico in Vt, or runing all over the North East in search of the best snow and conditions available.

I have been married to a wonderfull woman for nearly ten years now, and our "Family" here consists of 3 dogs; 'Idgett' who is a "Dobrador" and 16yrs old... came to the marriage in a package deal with me, 'Buffy' a "Borderline-Terrier" is 8 and was placed in our custody from the local Death Row after doing something bad...(She was a juvie so the records are sealed), 'Verney' is a 4 yr old "Lab-Golden Retriever" mix and is a Professional Service Dog. He and my wife Pamela have been joined at the hip for a little over 2 yrs now...

Ever met a dog that was SO smart it was scarry? That's 'Verney'!

I have been a fixture here at FA for 4 years and have been with "Hired Guns" since the start. I have been honored to fill a few positions within the Squad over the years but none is as enjoyable as being the HG's XO! This is one great bunch of fellows! I'm also involved in the "ALLIED COMMAND" as a plankowner and serve there as CO. We are the ones who work in concert with the Axis Command to bring you all those gripping monthly historical events we all enjoy so much.
